Washington, D.C.: Printed for Whitman by J.S. Redfield, 1871 [2,500/3,500] first edition , first printing , first issue , retaining the scarce fragile wrappers . Later issues and/or printings were combined with Leaves of Grass. Neither ABPC nor Rare Book Hub trace any copies at auction since 1980. A remarkably well-preserved example.
