wann's book department is the backbone of our business. We conduct approximately 20 book auctions a year, each devoted to a specific collecting area, ranging from 15th century printing to 20th century literature.
We are the only auction house in North America to hold regular sales of early printed, medical, and scientific books. We also conduct frequent auctions of natural history and plate books; fine bindings; art and architecture books; fine press and illustrated books; and printed and manuscript Americana.
Auctions comprise material from private collectors, dealers, institutions and estates. We also routinely present single-owner sales in which individual collections are auctioned.
We would be pleased to help you build or market your collection.
