The first auction of Old Master Drawings held at Swann in five years, this sale features works by Francois Boucher, Joris Hoefnagel, Guido Reni and Gaspar van Wittel.

Highlights include:

A panoramic view of Rome from the west, titled Veduta di Roma by Gaspar van Wittel, gouache on vellum, 1683, a detail of which is shown top left.

Giovanni Battista Tiepolo's The Holy Family with Two Saints, brush and ink and wash, as well as Tiepolo's Mars and Venus, brush and ink, wash and pencil.

Francois Boucher's Two Satyrs, a chalk drawing, circa 1740s, is a study for two figures in the Beauvais tapestry of Neptune Rescuing Ameymone.

Head of a Woman Looking to the Left, a chalk drawing by Guido Reni, circa 1639-40.
