With 6 half-plates (including snipers [wallpaper hangers] posing in front of a long fence with theatrical broadsides, and Union officers posing in front of their tent); 9 quarter-plates (including a miner with a pickaxe, a figure posing as Uncle Sam, and a musician with his trombone); 28 sixth-plates (including firemen, a barber, a man and his rooster, an African American gentleman, and carpenters); and 2 ninth-plates (including an owl perched on a chair); most are in leather or Union cases. 1860s-90s

Comprising a whole-plate of Niagara Falls; 3 half-plates, including a pair of variant images depicting a tropical setting; 6 quarter-plates, including a military figure and his trombone (with a note from his beloved, Addie); 10 sixth-plates (with a woman posing in front of her shop and a young man attacking his paramour with a sword); and 3 ninth-plates, including a rabbit on a table; most are housed in full or half leather cases, 2 in Union cases. 1850s-60s.
