A gigantic salesman's sample album, featuring 32 large-format photographs of post-prohibition drinking holes, and the viable furnishing options.
Comprising oversized images of pub exteriors, including the Gold Rail Tavern (which closed in 1979), Gotham Restaurant, Paradise Cafe, among other bars and grills throughout the city; lavish and cozy interiors, some newly outfitted and others abundantly stocked with bottles and barmaids; and composite montages of the available furnishings, from lighting fixtures and barstools to a "cellar box" refrigerator complete with wood paneling. Silver prints, the images measuring 15x19½ inches (38.1x49.5 cm.), and the reverse, each with an Allied Modernization Company hand stamp on recto.
