Histed, showing him in court dress with hat and sword and wearing the insignia of the
Order of Merit. Inscribed on the mount above and below the image. Additionally signed
by the photographer, in pencil, lower right. 6x4 inches (image), 12x9 inches overall; mat-
ting adhesive to mount in all margins recto (not affecting image or text); matted.
