Box measures
50x182x20 mm, in white, blue, red, and
brown, verso of lid designed by Vilmos
Huszar, some light wear and fading, no
repairs. Plate measures 145x70mm, in yel-
low, gold, white, and black, with two
mounting holes at top and bottom, sides
and verso with some oxidation. (IO).

In 1930 Zwart was commissioned to design
monthly calendar cards for the Bruynzeel Wood
Company, which manufactured pencils and
doors. Eventually, he designed all
of
Bruynzeel’s printed publications, advertising,
packaging, offices, exhibitions and various work
spaces of representatives abroad.
