silk endpapers, mostly perished; unobtrusive gallery labels on final blanks. Provenance: laid-
in is a typed letter from Hammer Galleries on their stationery stating that these volumes
offered as part of the William Randolph Hearst Collection (Hammer Galleries, NewYork,
March 1941; lot 750,Article 1757A).
