Still a fugitive today, Joanne Chesimard is wanted for the murder of a New jersey State
Trooper in a shootout on the New Jersey Turnpike in 1973. Chesimard was arrested, tried and
sentenced to life, but she escaped in 1979 and is still on the run, believed to be in Cuba.
