Here, in the comfort of their own luxurious home, two women are trying on various costumes that have been delivered to them from the store (the empty boxes are clearly visible in the foreground). They are already enjoying themselves even as they prepare for the amusing evening that is in store for them, surrounded by their purchases of jewelry, lace, masks, ostrich feathers, fans and other accessories.
