China pitcher, 6 inches tall and 7 inches round, with blue transfer printing, stamped “Cauldon / England / 8” on bottom; minimal wear. [Stoke-on-Trent, England]: Cauldon, circa 1890-1905 [400/600] Matching portraits of Lincoln appear on each side, with the title “With malice toward none, with charity for all” underneath. The firm Brown-Westhead, Moore & Co. was founded in Staffordshire before 1860, and began using the Cauldon name circa 1890; after 1905 they were generally styled Cauldon Ltd. 157 c   (REALIA.) Bowl-on-bowl com- memorative hurricane lamp featuring portraits of Lincoln and Washington. 27 inches in height, in 4 detachable parts: base of metal and frosted glass, 11 1 / 2 inches high; metal lamp mechanism, 7 1 / 2 inches high; plain glass chimney, 12 1 / 2 inches in height; and frosted glass globe with the two portraits, 10 inches round, with metal ring at top; original condition, not wired, minor wear, light rust and soiling; stamped “Con- solidated” at top of mechanism with three copyright dates (1890, 1893, and 1895) and “341” at bottom.
