Various subjects including portraits, street scenes, camel rides and tourism at the Great Sphinx, Pyramids, and the Valley of the Kings.Various sizes, trimmed and mounted to oblong 4to format black album leaves, cord-stitched in plain grey wrappers, slightly worn. [Egypt, circa 1930] [300/500] 381 382 c   (OCEAN LINERS.) Approximately 25 hand-drawn ship-builder’s schematic plans. Ink on architectural vellum; various sizes, some large; various condition. Mostly Scotland, first decade of the 20th century [700/1,000] Most of the group comprises drawings for the S.S. Pannonia, including: Profile & Hold Plan, Boat Shade & Shelter Decks, Deadweight Scales, Midship Section, Arrangement of Upper & Main Decks, Capacity Plans, Proposed Position of Lifeboats, Stability Curves, and Metacentric Diagrams. Many of the Pannonia plans bear the stamp of John Brown & Company, Clydebank, June 1904. Brown built the vessel which operated for the Cunard Line until 1922. Other sheets include manuscript plans for S.S. Majestic, S.S. Homeric and the S.S. Laurentic.
