Single-page opening illumination in colors and gold, divisional panels similarly decorated; gold roundels between verses. Ruled in gold, red, and blue throughout. 97 leaves, including 2 full-page painted illustrations in color of Mecca and Medina. 173x115 mm, gilt-tooled red leather over pasteboard with green leather onlays on covers and flap, spine and flap rebacked, endpapers renewed; blank upper outer corner torn and restored on 2 leaves in middle of volume, contents clean apart from smearing of ink on final double-page spread and obliterated writing in lower half of last page; buckram folding case.
