The first, “Dear Jeremy— Thanks for charming card! / (What—no Yeti?) / All best, / Arthur / 28-2-07,” in upper margin, thanking for his book, agreeing with his view regarding Kurt Gödel, remarking on the importance of the role that Alan Turing played during WWII, suggesting encryption as a topic for a New Yorker article, and remarking on his newly relaxed lifestyle. The second, entitled “Egogram 2007,” to “Friends, Earthlings, ETs,” sending New Year’s greetings and summarizing recent accomplishments and proposed projects.
