NewYork: E.P. Dutton & Company, 1925 [1,000/1,500] first edition , second printing , (March 1925). Suppressed upon its completion in 1921 by the Soviet censors, the manuscript then found its way to the US and published by Dutton in translation.A Russian edi- tion did not appear until 1988.
