[400/600] The warm ALS thanks Tweel for her friendship and critical support of Lopez’s work in her widely read and respected fashion and culture column in “Soho News.” It contains a colored marker sketch of a face kissing a red stiletto heel shoe. An out and proud Nuyorican, LGBTQ advocate, and fashion icon, Lopez was one of the most influential image- and tastemakers of 1970s and 80’s New York.
