A handsome album with approximately 350 photographs documenting travels to Cuba and Mexico as well as Maine and the White Mountains. 1909-10.

Silver prints
A beautifully and neatly presented album, the record of an apparently intrepid and eager traveler, each page clearly labeled, with travels starting in Florida, then to Cuba, extensive travels across Mexico, and then prints from the following year in Maine and the White Mountains. The Cuban images (more than 50) include street scenes in Havana and Matanzas, architecture, sugar cane and banana agricultural scenes, and the harbor. The Mexican images feature Vera Cruz, Orizaba, coffee agricultural scenes, bull fights, Mexico City, railway travels, Oaxaca, the major archaeological site Mitla, and much more. The Maine and White Mountains scenes (approximately 90 prints) showcase both the rugged beauty of the landscape and visits to Bowdoin and other cities. Each with captions in white ink below the images, some pages with dates; mounted recto/verso; with additional photographs in an envelope laid in at the rear.
The images 3 1/2 x 4 1/2 in. (8.9 x 11.4 cm.), and slightly smaller, the sheets slightly larger
