- Notes: The game of Snip, Snap, Snorum is played by five persons playing five suits: Slick, Slack, Slim, Slow, and Sly. Slim and Slick are caricatured, stereotyped images of blacks with ridiculous names. Their white counterparts are no less ridiculous. The game was very popular in the 19th century and may have had its roots in the 18th century.
