AARON. The Light and T ruth of Slaver y. Title-page woodcut vignette portrait of Aaron, several text woodcuts. 48 pages. 8vo, original plain drab wrap-pers; waterstain affects title, growing more faint to page 7. Springfield, 1845 E500/750 FIRST EDITION. Curious combination of slave and sea narrative and general aboli-tionist material, interspersed with poetry. Sabin (82010), repeats his entry (41041) for a Worcester edition, 1827-(possibly a misprint for 1847)-for which there is a later Worcester printing. However, events described in the text as late as 1844 indicate Sabin's 1827 entry is in error. Not in Blockson Collection; Schomburg Collection, Sc Rare 326.4-L, the Worcester edition, gives no definite date other than "[1843?]."
