- Notes: "An auction catalogue of considerable historical interest because of the items sold, namely, a part of the treasure of the Turkish Sultanate that the last sultan, Abdul Hamid II, was able to remove after his exile in 1909"--Sinkankas 6. Most of the items consisted of diamond-set jewelry, single pearls and diamonds of over 35 and 50 carats, emerald and diamond jewelry, snuff boxes, bottles, mirrors, opera glasses, and other items of value and importance.
