Etching and drypoint, 1648. 148x122 mm; 5 3/4x4 3/4 inches, small margins. Fifth state (of 9). Partial Strasburg Lily (?) watermark (see Godefroy 8). Ex-collection William Esdaile (Lugt 2617, lower right recto); and Richard Fisher (Lugt 2204, verso). A superb, early and tonal impression with selective wiping and scratch-work particularly in the ground in the lower part of the print.
