Good group of 16 turn-of-the-century ethnographic and topographic scenes of East Africa and the Sennar (a region in the East Sudan). Printing-out paper prints, each approximately 6 x 8 inches, some with I.P. Carvalho's handstamp, and penciled descriptive captions, in French, on verso. 1900. WITH- -group of 79 miscellaneous, posed views of the Cuanhannas (or Kwanza) natives of central Angola, with many wonderful portraits, ceremonial images, and scenes of daily life.
