Woodcut, 1505-7. 264x206 mm; 10 3/8x8 1/8 inches, narrow to thread margins. Second state (of 2), with the monogram center. Small Augsburg coat-of-arms with the letters A and M watermark (Meder 179). Ex-collection Wilhelm Eduard Drugulin (Lugt 2612, verso). A very good Meder 2c impression, with strong contrasts.

An extremely scarce woodcut; we have found only 2 other impressions at auction in the past 30 years. Bartsch 142; Meder 276.
