Woodcut, 1519. 416x322 mm; 16 3/8x12 3/4 inches, wide margins. Third state (of 4). A very good Meder ii b impression, with the break in the right margin. Crest of Bavaria watermark (Meder 198, which he dates to circa 1600). A very good, evenly printed impression of this large, scarce print.
According to Meder, the architectural framing device is by Hans Weiditz. This impression would have been issued after 1519, the year of Maximilian's death. Bartsch 154; Meder 255.
