Collagraph and embossing printed in brown, 1978-79. 369x439 mm; 14 1/2x17 1/2 inches, full margins. Signed, titled and numbered 15/50 and E50 in pencil, lower margin. A very good impression.
Another color variant, printed in red on tan paper, is illustrated in Alonzo Davis in the The International Review of African American Art. Cheryl McKay Dixon writes "self-discovery through contemplation produced the Mental Space series, representing self-analysis, mental investigation, rationality and the uncovering of layers of self-consciousness." Dixon, p. 19.
