  • Notes: A receipt for 100 bushels of corn issued to Penobscot Indians in Bangor, ME (then part of Massachusetts). Signed by Pear Nicol, Joseph Mary, Tartamon, and Attian, each with their mark "X," and witnessed by well-known Maine cartographer Moses Greenleaf.
