Mount somewhat brittle and worn at edges, with loss of a small fragment of the upper right corner of the image, creases near lower margin, slight abrasion to image near right center edge. Another copy in carte-de-visite format is at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center, which identifies the subjects as (left to right), four Pawnees--Brave Chief, Eagle Chief, Knife Chief, and Young Chief; William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody; and four Sioux--American Horse, Rocky Bear, Flies Above, and Long Wolf.
