  • Notes: An interesting loyalist weekly newspaper. Publisher John Mein was later the target of angry Boston mobs, and was forced to flee to England. These issues include frequent pre-Revolutionary news, such as the text of the famous February 11 circular letter disseminated by the Massachusetts House of Representatives (March 28 issue), the planting of a liberty tree in Providence (August 1), and an advertisement for John Dickinson's "Liberty Song" (September 19).
