An archive of more than 150 photographs documenting construction of the Grand Coulee Dam in the Columbia River, Washington. 1934-45.

About 50 of the photographs are on black paper mounts and these are all dated from 1934-36, including a 3-part panorama, each with a numeric notation and many with a date in ink on print recto, a couple with a caption in the negative, and some with typed captions with a date on mount verso; also 3 black mounts with 2-4 smaller prints (3.5 x 4.5 inches, 8 photographs total).

About 100 of the prints are on tan mounts and these are all dated 1937-45, including two 3-part panoramas and one 2-part panorama, each with a date stamp and most with a negative number stamp on mount recto, and some with notations in pencil or ink, some with Information Department stamps, also on mount recto, and image use stamps on mount verso (some with credited photographers, including F.B. Pomeroy); also 2 tan mounts with smaller prints (4.5 x 6.5 inches, 2 plus one 4-part panorama with the smaller-format prints).
The images 7 3/4 x 9 1/2 in. (19.7 x 24.1 cm.), and slightly smaller, and the reverse, the sheets slightly larger, the mounts approx. 8 1/2 x 11 1/2 in. (21.6 x 29.2 cm.)
