An archive with approximately 100 photographs documenting Robert F. Kennedy's political life, mostly from the Black Star Photo Press Agency. 1957-68.

The selection begins by introducing Robert F. Kennedy as a Labor Investigator and examines his conflict with Jimmy Hoffa and subsequent role as Attorney General. It documents his 1964 campaign for the United States Senate, highlights his tenure as Senator, and concludes with his campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination in 1968. Additionally, the archive provides insight into his personal life.

With a combination of press stamps, press caption labels, and/or notations in ink and pencil, and some with a Corbis-Bettman Collection label, on verso.

Most images bear a Black Star stamp and the photographer's credit stamp or his credit in pencil, including Steve Shapiro (approximately 50), Burton Berinsky, Dennis Brack, Fred Ward, Noel Clark, Leo Choplin, David Falconer, and more.
The images 6 3/4 x 8 5/8 in. (17.1 x 21.9 cm.) to 14 x 11 in. (35.6 x 27.9 cm.), and the reverse, some sheets slightly larger
