14 pages. 12mo, waste paper wrappers from a 1795 Connecticut newspaper, worn; minor wear to contents; early owner's inscription on final blank page, "presented him by his much respected friend, the Author."

    An oration delivered by a master's degree candidate at what would become Brown University; he was a Congregational minister on Long Island. "The cruelty, and injustice, with which this class of beings has been treated, by their boasted superiors of the human race, is too notorious to need a particular recital." 

    The printer David Frothingham launched the first press at Sag Harbor, on Long Island's South Fork, in 1791. None at auction since 1923, 5 in ESTC.
