This is the sad story of the difficulties in the path of true love for the young. / Once upon a time Cupid was able to force the ages to look on and to pipe for the young to dance and make love to. / But now it is the fashion for old men to dance with young girls and for fledgling boys to adore old women. / As the young must be in fashion it is only the middle-aged and somewhat plump that can meet on equal terms in affection and love of much rich food. The cupids in despair become waiters."
