One of the giants in the field of 20th Century celebrity trains, along with the New York Central's 20th Century Limited, and Santa Fe's Chief, the Broadway Limited ran from New York City through Philadelphia to Chicago, where connections could be made to head all the way out West. A contemporary brochure boasts that the train offered six different kinds of "restful accommodations," including the "roomette, Master Room and Duplex Room." Zega 162.
