ANONYMOUS RIDE THE 400 FLEET / CHICAGO AND NORTH WESTERN LINE. 1942.
38x24 7/8 inches.
Condition A.
In 1934, with America fascinated with the new streamlined trains being paraded around the country by different railroad companies, the Chicago North Western Line jumped on the bandwagon. Their new "400 fleet" was advertised as being able to travel 400 miles in 400 minutes. These streamliners were regional, intended to bring people into Chicago from Minnesota, Madison, Milwaukee, Green Bay, Wisconsin's North Woods, upper Michigan and southern Minnesota.
