An exciting image of trotter-racing at Long Island's Mineola Fairgrounds. The Fairgrounds were in operation between 1866 and the early 1940s. This could well have been one of the last equestrian events at the Fairgrounds, as 1905 was the year that the famous track at Belmont was opened.
