AIR FRANCE.
38x24 1/2 inches. P. Chanove, Courbevoie.
Condition A.
A Dewoitine D-333 is flying through a decorative sunburst, the rays of which extend to colorful images of exotic peoples from around the world (Native Americans, geishas, flamenco dancers, gauchos, caballeros, snake charmers and more) that one could, presumably, encounter at the other end of an Air France flight. Three Dewoitine D-333s were ordered by Air France in 1934, and were christened Antares, Cassiopee and Altair. Judging from the call numbers this plane is the Antares. Air France sticker on image.
