Boggeri worked with the printer Alfieri & Lacroixi in Milan, before opening up his eponymously-named studio in 1933. His firm worked for Olivetti, Pirelli and other dynamic Italian brands. Some of his early studies with photography, as well as the influence of Moholy-Nagy, led him to become one of the pioneers of using photography in advertising, which became his major contribution to modern publicity.
