Chiaroscuro woodcut printed in brown, yellowish tan and black on cream laid paper, circa 1525. 293x480 mm; 11 5/8x19 inches. Trimmed on or just inside the black border line. A good impression of this extremely scarce, early color print.
We have found only 2 other impressions at auction in the past 20 years. Bartsch 28.
