- Notes: Boldly inscribed and signed by Aldrin "Key steps to the first manned lunar landing! Buzz Aldrin, Apollo XI LMP." Additionally inscribed and signed by Apollo 11 CapCom and Apollo 16 Moon walker Charles Duke "Eagle, Houston - We read you now. You're go for PDI... Your go for landing... We copy you down Eagle, Charles M. Duke, Jr. Apollo 11 CAPCOM." These statements were key milestones and acknowledgments Duke transmitted to "Eagle" during the descent profile for the first lunar landing.
