(ARGENTINA.) Manifestacion de los nombres con que vulgarmente se conocen las calles y plazas de esta ciudad.
Broadside. Oblong small folio sheet, approximately 12 3/ 4x17 3/ 4 inches; folds, tape repair on verso of vertical centerfold, mid-19th century ink annotations [see note]. Buenos Aires: Ninos Expositos, 30 June 1808
- Notes: A rare and unusual item, listing the common names of the streets of Buenos Aires, the original names, and the new names commemorating the victory against the British. This copy with later ink notations, dated 1860, adding the names of the streets at that time. See Furlong, Historia y Bibliografia de las Primeras Imprentas Rioplatenses 1158 for a lengthy discussion of the importance and rarity of this broadside.
