- Notes: A letter to the Supreme Director, signed in print by Francisco Ezequiel de Maderna, Jose Barres, Epitacio del Camp and 23 others, just three days before independence, complaining about the ill treatment from military commanders, requesting their removal, and threatening to vote the Supreme Director from office if their demands are not met.
