  • Notes: Inge Hardison, an accomplished painter, sculptor, photographer and educator, was born in 1914 and is well-known for the series she dubbed "Negro Giants in History" done for the Old Taylor distillery in the early 1960's. This casting of Harriet Tubman differs from image of Tubman in the series.
