  • Notes: The Apollo ASTP Astronauts did a majority of their flight training in multi-zippered jacket and pants. They wore these suits during the actual mission when pressure suits were not required. These suits were made of a tan-colored low flammability "Durette" fabric. The name tag and "meatball" were placed on the left and right breast respectively and the U.S. Flag on the upper left arm, both attached with velcro and were easily removable.
