Folio, 332x216 mm, contemporary Greek-style binding of morocco over wooden boards, covers blind-tooled to panel design with frame of repeating square ornamental tools enclosing 2 vertically arranged lozenges of repeating volutes on covers, front cover additionally gilt-stamped ATHENAIOS in Greek at top, flat spine divided by false bands into 5 compartments containing intersecting diagonal fillets, cover corners worn through, bottom of spine worn, small hole in rear joint, surface of rear cover abraded, catches and clasps lacking; foxing mainly at beginning and end, few leaves browned, minor worming in blank lower margins. 17th-century ownership inscription (in Greek) of Antonio Nardi; 18th-century signature of Pascual Sauli.
