Vp, 1952-1990 A unique collection of Photographic auction catalogues beginning with facsimile catalogues of the very first photographic auctions, the Marshall sale at Swann (1952), and the Nicholas Rauch auction in Geneva (1961), and an original catalogue of the Weissberg sale at Parke-Bernet in New York (1967), and continuing with catalogues from every photographic auction at every major auction house from 1972 to 1990, including Christie's East, Christie's South Kensington, Parke-Bernet, Sotheby's Belgravia, Sotheby's London, Sotheby's New York, Swann Galleries, Butterfield and Butterfield, Harris Auction Galleries, Petzold KG Photographica, and much more. Neither the New York Public Library, nor the New York Historical Society has such a complete collection.
