"What was generally a quiet street in daylight, became transformed every night after eleven into the famous strip street known far and wide as the sexiest place in town"--from the Introduction. Sutnar continued to explore this theme during the 60s and 70s; he organized two New York gallery exhibitions of his nudes, In Pursuit of Venus (1966) and Venus: Joy-Art (1969).
