Chiaroscuro woodcut printed on 4 joined sheets in dark brown, light brown and tan, 1641. 873x616 mm; 34 3/8x24 1/4 inches (overall), small to thread margins. Second state (of 2). Laid down to card stock with scattered repaired tears and creases, though overall in fairly good condition for this monumental work. A good impression with strong colors.
A scarce, important print; we have found only 2 other impressions at auction in the past 20 years. Bartsch 12.
