  • Notes: Beadle's Dime Base-Ball Player was the first annual baseball guide when founded in 1860. It was followed in 1868 by the De Witt's Base-Ball Guide, which for much of its existence was edited by the first great baseball journalist, Henry Chadwick. This lot includes Beadle's guides for 1867, 1872-73, and 1877-78, and De Witt's guides for 1870-71, 1873-81, and 1883. Collation notes available upon request. with--37 bound photocopies of Beadle and De Witt guides.
