- Notes: Elmer Batters was a renowned, and possibly obesessed, fetish photographer known for his foot and leg photographs. His work in magazines, such as "Black Silk Stockings" and "Man's Favorite Pastime," led to his arrest on obscenity charges. Interestingly, it was not the nude models the authorities objected to but his seductive photographs of feet! Recently two new books about his work, which spanned 35 years, have been published by Taschen.
