On verso of the frame is a note from the publisher explaining the circumstances. Overall dimension approximately 26x23 inches. New York, mid 70s
- Notes: The publisher writes, "Two casual sketches made in my office at Crown Publishers in the mid-1970s, while discussing editorial matters connected to "The Painter's Mind" by Bearden and Carl Holty - one of Holty - along with a letter to me some years later about the "Eugene Story" he once told me (The crippled boy who taught him to draw... pornographic drawings.) and that I wanted Romy to write and illustrate.
